take it that...的意思是“假定……”“猜想……”“觉得……”。如：

I take it that we are to leave early.我想大家动身会非常早的。

I take it that neither of you reads ‘The Times’.我感觉你们两个都不读《泰晤士报》。

有时可以省略 that。如：
